A different way of working out

A year or two ago Jesse found a really cool group called RMAX who have put together a health first approach to exercise. We’ve been doing Intu-Flow (a joint mobility program) and Flow Fit (a yoga-style bodyweight exercise program) for a while now and even went to a seminar in Seattle on their Prasara Yoga in April (9 hours of yoga oh my!). The group is doing something really cool – they’re giving away their Flow Fit DVDs to Americans to help make the country more healthy.

If you’re even remotely interested, you should go to http://www.makeamericastronger.us/ and get yourself the DVD. You only have to pay shipping & handling. The workout is strength and cardio all done in under 18 minutes. I thought it sounded impossible at first (and for the first few reps through the workout you won’t understand the cardio part), but I do it at the gym now and always sweat my butt off by the end! It’s very cool looking too – someday when I get to the advanced level (this probably won’t happen for a long long time for me) it’s going to be exciting.
